Because we operate as a dropshipping business and many Renaissance Faire costumes are specialty or seasonal items, please review this policy carefully before making a purchase.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

 

We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • The return request is made within [14–30] days of delivery.

  • The item is unused, unworn, unwashed, and in original condition.

  • All original tags and packaging are intact.

  • The item is not marked as Final Sale or Non-Returnable.

Due to hygiene and costume-specific considerations, the following items may not be eligible for return:

  • Worn costumes

  • Altered items

  • Clearance or final sale items

  • Custom or made-to-order pieces

  • Accessories such as wigs, hats, or undergarments (if applicable)

 

To initiate a return, email us at runestonecostumeco@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number

  • The item(s) you wish to return

  • The reason for the return

  • Photos (if item is damaged or incorrect)

We will provide return instructions if your request is approved.

Do not send items back without authorization.

 

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

  • The item arrived damaged

  • The item was defective

  • The wrong item was sent

Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Because we work with third-party suppliers, return addresses may differ from our business mailing address.

 

Once the returned item is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

  • Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to process.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless required by law.

If the returned item does not meet eligibility requirements, we may refuse the refund or issue a partial refund.

 

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Include clear photos of the product and packaging.

We will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.

 

We do not guarantee direct exchanges due to inventory limitations. If you need a different size or item, we recommend:

  1. Requesting a return (if eligible).

  2. Placing a new order for the correct item.

 

Orders may be canceled within [12–24 hours] of purchase.

After this period, orders may already be in processing with our suppliers and cannot be canceled.

 

We are not responsible for refunds in cases of:

  • Incorrect shipping address provided by the customer

  • Delays caused by carriers or customs

  • Packages marked as delivered by the carrier

  • Normal sizing variations listed in product descriptions
